Federal and state aid regulations and laws require institutions to establish a Cost of Attendance (COA) for each student receiving any kind of financial aid or student support. COA is derived from direct costs such as tuition, fees, housing, and food and indirect costs such as books, supplies, personal miscellaneous expenses, and transportation costs. Institutions use the Student Aid Index as calculated by the information submitted on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a student's COA to determine the student's financial need.

The Arkansas Economic Security Report Higher Education Planning Guide fulfills the mandate under A.C.A. § 6-60-105 to provide students and families with employment and income information for recent graduates from Arkansas’ higher education institutions.

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education Consumer Guide provides critical information,  such as retention and graduation rates, cost of tuition, loan default rates, admission rates,  average test scores, job placement rates, and income of college alumni, with the intention of  better informing prospective students and the legal guardians of prospective students.  Institutions are required by Arkansas law to provide the Higher Education Consumer Guide to all  prospective students before completing an application for admission, and the prospective  student must verify that he or she has been provided with the guide.

UAHT celebrates Constitution Day and Citizenship Day on September 17 (or the week before or after if September 17 falls on the weekend). Information regarding the event is posted on the UAHT website. 

College Navigator is a free online tool provided by the National Center for Education Statistics  (NCES) that helps students, families, counselors, and the public access reliable information  about more than 7,000 U.S. postsecondary institutions. It offers data on programs offered,  retention and graduation rates, transfer‑out rates, costs, financial aid, student demographics,  campus safety, and accreditation.

College Scorecard is a U.S. Department of Education tool designed to help students and families  easily explore and compare colleges using reliable federal data. The State of Arkansas requires that all new students comply with the two-dose measles immunization policy. UAHT requires proof of two (2) MMR vaccinations for full‑time enrollment (with limited exceptions).

UA Hope Texarkana programs are designed to prepare students to apply for applicable licensures in Arkansas and may not meet education requirements for a license in another state.  UA Hope Texarkana makes every effort to ensure information about educational requirements for licensure information is current, however, licensure regulations are frequently revised.  In compliance with federal regulations, UA Hope Texarkana has provided the following information about whether a student’s successful completion of our program enables or qualifies him/her to take professional licensing exams necessary to practice their chosen professional discipline in other states.
