Hempstead Hall invites the community to celebrate the Halloween season at Hempstead Halloween on Friday, October 16, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone.

From 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Hempstead Hall’s downstairs hallway and rotunda will be filled with decorated tables hosted by campus departments, organizations, and local businesses. Guests can trick-or-treat their way through the building while collecting candy, giveaways, merchandise, and other items.

A trunk-or-treat featuring classic cars will also take place outside in the circle drive area. Community members are encouraged to come in costume, decorate, and join in the Halloween fun.

Hempstead Hall concessions will be available for purchase throughout the evening, in addition to the free candy and giveaways.

At 7:00 p.m., trick-or-treating will conclude, and guests are invited to move into the theater for a free Halloween movie, which will run until approximately 9:00 p.m.

Movie admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods or other nonperishable food items. We will collect all donated items and give them to Hope In Action to support its work in the community.

The concession stand will remain open during the movie.

Hempstead Halloween is delighted to offer this fun, family-friendly evening for the entire community. Costumes are encouraged, and all ages are welcome.
