Record Transfer & Inventory Form document the accession or transfer of records from the creating department to the Archives.

 

Inventory Forms provide a complete and accurate inventory of the contents of each box of records. The inventory must be detailed enough to enable the Archivist to find a file when you ask to retrieve it later.


Destruction Authorization Form designate the specific length of time a record is held before it is destroyed.


Deed of Gift Form: The deed of gift is a formal, legal, agreement that transfers ownership of, and legal rights in, the materials to be donated. A deed of gift form not only transfers ownership of the items, but also transfers the copyright (if applicable), and states what the new owner can and cannot do with the item(s).
