Each student will be assigned an advisor during registration. The advisor will be a faculty member in the area most closely related to the students proposed major field of study. The advisor will assist the student in choosing the appropriate courses prior to registration each semester. The faculty advisor will also direct the student to information relating to financial aid, testing, etc.

COMPASSis a comprehensive computerized adaptive testing system that helps place students into appropriate courses and maximizes the information that UAHT needs to ensure student success. The COMPASS Test is un-timed and allows students the comfort of moving at their own pace. Skills assessed using the COMPASS include writing, reading and mathematics. The COMPASS Test is given every Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
